On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, Otter Controls India inaugurated the third plant on Sunday, 10th April 2022. The guest of honour was Mr. Alan Gemmell, OBE, Her Majesty’s Trade Commissioner for South Asia & British Deputy High Commissioner for Western India, and Mr. Avnish Malhotra, Head, British Trade Office Pune. The ceremony started with a ribbon-cutting and pooja of Lord Shri Ram.
Mr Gemmell said “Otter Controls India is an excellent example of how an Indo-British joint venture can work for the technological development in the automotive and domestic appliances sector to manufacture high-quality engineering products. The Otter Group is helping in creating various job opportunities and increasing international trade for the benefit of both India and UK and a great investment for the UK and Maharashtra too.”
All the valued customers, suppliers, and service providers of the organization were present for the ceremony. They congratulated Otter Group Chairman Dr. David Smith and Otter Controls India’s MD, Mr. Ulhas Joshi, for their successful new plant opening. The film about Otter Controls India’s journey was presented, and the ceremony ended with a delicious lunch.
